(because of light from phone camera last pic looks pink)

What sort of paint did you use for the steering wheel. Mine could do with a litre of the stuff..... In beige thou ;)

Also cant help thinking how many farts are trapped in the foam under them seat holes.

Yesterday had two new tyres fitted and swapped the rest around. Got two new tyres on the back and the older two on the front. The spare alloy wheel was leaking air so dropped that off at the local powder coaters. £35. Not bad I thought. Will post up a pic when I pick it up. Just hope I don't get a flat tyre now :p

Drove it a 90 mile round trip to collect a replacement bonnet. The original bonnet got badly dented last xmas eve, when a large tree branch fell onto it.
It's taken over 6 months to find a decent replacement.
The new bonnet isn't perfect but one close inspection neither was the original. At least the new bonnet doesn't have a large dent in it.
While I was there the guy (Wayne) help me swap the old with the new. This would allow me to take old bonnet home on the roof rack without the worry of damaging it.
Whilst at Wayne's garage I asked if he had a couple of extra bits the Freelander was missing. One was a driver's side splash shield and the cover plates for the wheel arch liners. He had the splash shield and a nearside cover plate on another Freelander which he removed for me.
So things were going well then I asked what I owe him, he replied £20. Bargain
So I was A happy bunny. I also made a good like minded future contact.
The bonnet is now all clean and while there I took the opportunity to clean the scuttle plate and remove the accumulated muck that collects underneath.

Looking good mate ;)

Today, I fitted a clutch, repaired non dropping rear tailgate glass, and welded up broken door check strap mount (O/S/R)

To go: both rear passenger electric windows have died - no motor sounds, so blown fuses? Knackered motors? Dodgy switches? or any other variation on a theme.

I see you have the lidl special roof bars......:)

I have the same bars at £30 a pop I bought 2 sets one for the hippo and one for the rav....

I have a exodus roof box attached to one set and they fit fine......

For the money they are really good quality....I think so any way. .:)

I paid £25 for mine I've had them so long. They are good and strong. I've had over 200 Kg's of decking planks on them with no problems. Good bars and well worth the money.
