Hadn't extended the new one. Fits and runs great. Are they both fully closed, look like different lengths
Good, presumably the noise has gone?Hadn't extended the new one. Fits and runs great.
The closed length is different, as the axle moves the prop will lengthen or shorten. If not going off road it might not matter so much.Hadn't extended the new one. Fits and runs great.

Only managed to take it up and down the lane but early indications are that it has gone. As I've got it, I'll change the front over over the next couple of days as I'd assume it's in similar condition, but looking good.Good, presumably the noise has gone?
That was Rear.Front or rear?

Got a new negative earth lead for the battery to chassis and gearbox. Just need to fit it now.
Baby Bay near Polzeath down in Cornwall.Very nice, what beach is that?
That reminds me, need to top up the brake fluid.Todays job list:
- Swap out front prop shaft for new
- Top up fluids
- Swap out front speakers for new set from Amazon which should arrive midday![]()
That reminds me, need to top up the brake fluid.
Does anyone know how regularly brake fluid should need to be being topped up? I’m about a month and 3k miles in and am needing to top up again. Would that indicate a leak somewhere or is that fairly normal?
Very rarely, infact I never have. Really you should be looking at changing it every couple of years or so..That reminds me, need to top up the brake fluid.
