Looks like a pain of a job.Changed the rear discs and calipers as they were sh@gged.
Three of the caliper bolts did the usual rounding off trick.
Bought some of these from screwfix

They took one off no bother, which sorted one caliper. However, couldn't get them to hammer on the remaining two bolt heads.
Nothing for it but to get the angle grinder out.
Cut the caliper in half just behind the disc

This allowed the hub to come off.

This gave access to the top bolt head

Cut that off and access to the bottom one to cut that one off was easy.
What was left of the caliper just knocked off the studs that remained.

The next sized down bolt removing socket was a much better fit on the stud and hammered well on, so the studs came out very easily. I did give the lugs a good heating with a gas torch first though.
All back together and sorted.

Not the best day to be out working on the drive
How many sandwiches do you get in your external lunch box ?Fitted these Radar Renegade RT+ tyres on the Defender. Very quite on road, and 3 peaks snow rated and cheap.

It was a pain. I spent yesterday afternoon trying to hammer that socket on the two seized bolts. Then went on Screwfix again and ordered a 5 pack of 1.5mm metal cutting discs for the angle grinder, because I only had stone cutting discs left. The Mrs picked them up on the way home from work. It was very easy to cut the caliper up. If I'd had the discs already I would have saved half a dayLooks like a pain of a job.
Looks all a bit rusty under there, you need a few more oil leaks, that will sort it.
Fitted a snow cowl to the heater vent in.
Tried to replace the bushes on my rear shocks but can't get bottom nut of the first one i tried!! now peed off!!
