Hi Chaps and Chap'ests, Yeah, I know, I can hear it now 'You Idiot' I've gone and bought a 2002 L322 TD6 with 160K on it, trouble is, for the price (£3K) I couldn't resist, I know, I know, ok, go gently. It had a gear box rebuild at 143K with 20K warranty which is why I guess previous owner chop'd it in. Year MOT, last service 2k ago and body work is really good, just a tiny dent in rear o/s passenger door.
Engine and gear box run sweet, I've spent around a month trying to clue myself up on what to look for in terms of faults. I think guy I bought it from was a bit annoyed as I used up the £20 fuel he stuck in it as I used every bit of fuel vapour up when I took it out for a test drive and then continued to look around for another hour before purchasing.
Only fault, which he is fixing before I pick up tomorrow, is drivers side windows control panel is dead and slight pixilation on the odo / fault display.
Anyone know of a Android Head unit that will fit in to this? any recommendations would be appreciated.
Well I'm sure you'll see me about on here, she must have some faults up her sleeve raring to come out when unexpected. It was a toss up between this and a LWB Pajero, nothing feels like or drives like a RR, its worth the pain, so they tell me
