Hello again, returned after a few years LR free but succumbed to a RR 4.6 hse 1995 model in conniston green hmmmm. Few little things fixed (exhaust, radio, steering to mention a few) now the sore bit new key fob acquired swapped out and low and behold nothing, tried the reset methods mentioned can get it to start with the eka but fob refuses to fire up? (New batteries included lol) anybody any other methods of reseting the bloody thing?

Nope private sale, know local dealer so may have to visit and see what can be done

I meant the fob.
If you've gone the ebay route then you've probably wasted your money.

Ah sorry no just an empty case replacement all the internals were are kept

The internals are very close to the case edge. Are you certain that you haven't damaged them cutting them out of the old case.
Does the LED flash when you press a button. If not you might have damaged a battery contact.

Sorted looked closer into key fob new one never came with earth point! Swapped over with old earth boom now have working fob woohoo and words to that effect :cheer2:
