Doesn't remove all pressure, just some. The wheel that is touching down is still exerting a turning moment on the axle, so there is more than just the axle/wheel/tyre assembly weight on the ground. Maybe notalot, but it _is_ there and it _is_ better than having a tyre not touching anything, especially with an open diff.
They are spidertrax, with mega 9 diff and 1.5" halfshafts, about £15k worthok as long as you don't slip the clutch or spin a wheel. Cos the minute you do, you'll snap an halfshaft & 45k is taking the ****.
I assume that has dislocating coils?
If so... i don't get dislocating coils, cus, surely as soon as it dislocates it removes all pressure off the axle meaning the wheels are more likely to just not grip in mud and stuff???
or am i missing something? (quite possible!)
Why?You could probably build a decent landy from some of the parts otherwise its crap.
Why?
Its a racer for rich boys , and the taurus will go through a svaNot road legal, of no practical use, £45k to build, whats the point?
More to the point, it's up for sale which says it all really.
