What do i need to buy?

Its actually a 1986 90 with a discovery 200 engine in it
 
I take it the drive shaft comes out with everything else after taking these 7 bolts out?

Like i said, im a nube lol.... We all start somewhere

Yes undo the 7 bolts and the half shaft will come out along with everything else.

If yours has had the engine changed, check that the axles are the original still as well - I know if I was doing a swap like that I'd buy a disco with a knackered chassis and swap axles etc over as well (definitely at the back, maybe the front).
 
I dont have the money atm moment for a nackered disco. What i do know is that the back axle is from a disco and was told nothing about the front so i take it thats still original.

I have disco alloys on it and i had to grind the front ones to get them to sit flush on the hubs at front

I wasn't suggesting buying a knackered disco, I was just saying if I did that with an engine, I'd change other parts as well, so check to make sure yours has defender parts, or the part numbers may be different ;)
 
Ohhh i see,... Lol its early n i had a late night haha.

Ok im off to get the bits in a min ill have the guy double check for me :)
