You want a nice little Dacia duster 4x4, when pitted against a disco it did pretty much 90% of what the disco did off road. 🤯
Simple, easier to maintain and cheaper off the bat. 👍
It's OK having a simple car or even a complicated car. The biggest problem is the lowest quality of parts ever seen in the history of motoring....
Don't forget, once it's out of guarantee... The dealers don't care🤷and it's only got to perform well in that period😕
 
Maybe I'll have a look at that. I need a bigger car for accessibility reasons. The only other car I've owned that was easy access was a Chrysler Voyager. I'm not too worried about 4WD but living in rural Kent with the nearest bus 2 miles away life isn't always easy.

Bought her a second new battery in 2 days 🤦‍♀️ New battery turned up, mechanic brought it across to fit. It was too long and won't fit in battery box.🤦‍♀️ Soooo jump started and followed him to the garage. Nice new Yuasa put in. Vroom vroom went the Golden Girl 😁🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Other battery going back tomorrow. For anyone who needs to know Numax does not fit. And it's weirdly light 😮🤷‍♀️
 
Got in the car this morning.. after a brief moment the SRS light and Airbag Fault appears on the dash - no warning beeps.

Turned the engine off and wobbled the yellow cable under the seat as that’s been an issue in the past.. nope. Still there.

Time to start digging deeper 🤦‍♂️

There will be a pressure switch or sensor, most systems will operate with a refrigerant pressure of 6bar - this is to allow for cold climate environments, 6bar does not mean you have the correct amount of refrigerant in the system, just that there is enough to register the minimum pressure for the controller to allow operation and not set a DTC.

Mines on the charger pretty much all the time through a magnetic connector on rear end. Helps running the FBH and my contribution to global warming on these cold mornings while I have my brew :)
