P38 insurance renewal time. Churchill have gone up £50 to £315 a year fully comp. Used my old mates the meerkats and loads a lot cheaper. Have just settled on Aviva for £235 fully comp, protected no claims, windscreen cover, courtesy car etc. So am a happy bunny for another year

A long time ago, I purchased an ex Police Pan European. the front brake calliper was seized sold. It would seem that plod do not use the front brake on motorcycles.

The seals and pistons are fine just needed all the pustulous gloop cleaning out! Now the pistons slide with ease

I've done nothing with my car so far this week. I went int the garden on Saturday to feed the wild birds, fell over and fractured 3 ribs. Been in hospital ever since! Phoned the dealer I got the car from, he said take it back and he will refund my money. Deep joy.

Further to my new screen, I told them I would do all reassembly and took the opportunity to do a resistance reading on both sides for future reference. Just noticed too that the rubber dash to internal windscreen seal isn't seated which will be a bugger to get back in place I believe.

i need some new door mirrors, the heated bit only works on the lower edge.. on both sides!
i'm guessing they stay on all the time and burn out
i wouldnt bother, but it is awfully convenient!
