Next first world problem.. the DAB reception is rubbish. Park in the right spot and it's ok, move and it drops! Must be a corroded aerial connection?
Or just a duff aerial?Next first world problem.. the DAB reception is rubbish. Park in the right spot and it's ok, move and it drops! Must be a corroded aerial connection?

I have not kept up with it, but there were loads of reports at one time that DAB simply did not work when on the move and it's notable that the push by the BBC and others to switch to DAB seems to have gone quiet. The only real reason for DAB is that it frees up the analogue frequencies so the government can sell them off for more money to squandernever really bothered with the radio before so i dunno... but since the l322 has DAB thoguht i'd try it... its simply not usable.. if you find a channel that works,, its gone again within a minute

There is a miniature railway at the garden centre just the other side of Poynton. I'm seriously considering seeing what is involved in volunteering. Quite happy to be in the background linewalking and general stuff rather than driving, though if I get to have a drive at some point I wouldn't say no!Noticed the transport museum round the corner, said to other half we’ll have to go as I’m quite into stuff like that, only recently found out bury had a transport Museum. Definitely could see it’s like a big family they way they are with each other, best way to be, think it works well if everyone there is there because they want to be unlike a job you may do just for bill paying. It does look addictive, can’t beat steam though, I’m 33 but can’t stand modern trains whenever iv used them delays, break downs, snow etc, didn’t seem a issue back with steam, the whole things are like living breathing machines unlike electric.
You did make sure that was DERV not petrol, right? Sounds about the price of the petrol round here....Filled up with diesel last night, 141.9p. just checked it's still 162.9 at the supermarket
It's still goingYou did make sure that was DERV not petrol, right? Sounds about the price of the petrol round here....
Is that the one where the railway goes around the garden centre and can be seen from main road, just through the big junction, garden centre would be on your left as your head toward Macclesfield? If so been past a few times and mean to have a look. There is a miniature railway at the garden centre just the other side of Poynton. That is the one - Brookside garden centre. They had a major flood when the link road was being built that washed a lot of the railway away. There is a much longer track than it looks from the road.Is that the one where the railway goes around the garden centre and can be seen from main road, just through the big junction, garden centre would be on your left as your head toward Macclesfield?
