Hankook 11 months oldWhat brand?
Just checked my Hankook and my green ball has gone too..I don't have any reason to think there's anything up with the battery, holds ~12.7 overnight and flies the engine over
Green ball was there one day, gone the next
I put mine on charge overnight just in case, no luck. Checked at work, 18 miles drive, no luck. Got home after stopping for petrol, it's magically appeared haha.Just checked my Hankook and my green ball has gone too..
still works pucker though!
So long as it isn't slipping/flaring then nah!Going up a steep, constant gradient, constant throttle in 3rd.. revs dip for 1/2 second or so as though it's changed to 4th, then immediately back to 3rd and we carry on as normal. Should i be worried?
I shall check the tps output, cheers. I know it modified values as it wears.. wonder if they get a bit out of whack.. not supposed to reset unless you change gearbox internalsSo long as it isn't slipping/flaring then nah!
The tranny relies on the TPS to sense throttle position obvs, it could be related to that.
Or it just got confuzzled for a second!!
best place to start, my trans started acting up when my TPS started to fail, I also forgot to plug it in when taking the throttle body off..I shall check the tps output, cheers. Haha oops!! I unplugged it yesterday but remembered to plug back inbest place to start, my trans started acting up when my TPS started to fail, I also forgot to plug it in when taking the throttle body off..
That was interesting.
Nope no kickdown linkage, thankfully!Haha oops!! I unplugged it yesterday but remembered to plug back in
There's no lockdown linkage on these, is there? Ie something that might need adjustment?
Any clue if it measures the power output from the engine? Wonder if it cares if it's out of range...Nope no kickdown linkage, thankfully!
Just throttle position and calculated load, for the 'box.Any clue if it measures the power output from the engine? Wonder if it cares if it's out of range...

Yep a confused tranny is commonplace nowadays. This is the issue with Trannies. Sometimes they are just confused
