Oh more than likely, I don't recall my parents having to pay anywhere near this much when I was younger. Even taking into account inflation. We seem to be running like the American health care system when it comes to animals.

She is home now, although she was chasing a fox, the vet thinks the bites are closer to a snake than a fox because of the subsurface damage the punctures have caused. So it is possible what ever hole she followed the fox into was occupied. She has a lovely bald patch now, some yummy painmeds, and a daft limp while she heals.

I didn't agree with fox hunting because of how they did it, but I do think foxes need controlling. Too many city foxes that are getting far too brazen because they have no natural predator.

They hunt with dogs and guns over here, never see a rabbit, foxes only rarely, there are a few deer and wild boar. Plenty of snakes as they are nt hunted. I hope she is soon better and not traumatised.

Yes, I heard about the wild boars and the fun they can be. I imagine the lack of rabbits went down like a spoon of sugar for the farmers.
She is a tough cookie, other than feeling sorry for herself, she seems fine. The wife told me to say thank you for the concern for Maddy's wellbeing. I assume this means I should've said it sooner. ;D

No thanks needed, we are always sad to see an animal suffer.

She look a lovely dog, ours is a Border Collie/Jack Russell cross, looks like a Jack Russell on stilts

Our border missed her so much yesterday, he just sat depressed in her bed all day. She is so much better today. Still a bit tender, but in way less pain. But less pain means she is now licking her wounds, so we had to put her in a tshirt to stop her... she wasn't happy.

I love seeing crosses, like a corgi crossed with anything just looks like a corgi in a dog costume.

Here's our pooch, he's a rescue dog that had been ill treated, he's the nearest I could get to a Border Collie. He's too smart!

Where does the 4mm air line out of the EAS block go to? It's the one next to the exhaust silencer. Disappears into the conduit leading to the back of the car but I have no idea where it comes out. Reading around says it's a vent so is it just open to atmo at the end?

It just exhausts into the loom, it's open to the atmosphere.
