Fitted new fusebox and now the starter starts and EAS operational again.
Made myself a field expedient replacement pipe/tube for the rotted out coolant header pipe. 2 bits of vacuum cleaner pipe jammed one inside the other - TOP TIP a Lidl parkside ash vacuum cleaner tube is the exact size in o/d - but too thin on it's own. Cut the same length of Henry hoover pipe (stainless steel), wrap in self amalg tape and slowly push them together. You need to chamfer the ally tube or it won't go in. Get a piece of wood for the end and then hit with lump hammer until it seats. Wait for loctite to dry, top up coolant, take for test drive. Still no leaks 3 hours later

Got a RHS reverse lamp failed warning. Took the rear cluster out of the holder - you know, the one with the clear plastic for the reverse lights (spot the deliberate error yet?)
Got SWMBO to sit in the drivers seat and engage reverse - hmmmm no lights at all.. how odd. Got her to take it out of reverse and put it back in - nope, no reverse lights. Went inside and had a cup of tea to think.
Get the manual for bulb changing out, is it a fuse? Hmmm. Closed the tailgate baffled and was about to have a long think.
Then I turned round again. What a pillock - the reverse lights are on the lower tailgate and that's why they weren't lighting up on the rear brake light cluster. The clear plastic for the indicator threw me a curved ball. Swapped out the correct reverse bulb and I'm still laughing at my mistake hahahaha

it might have to get official .
Found it as I got in the car to go there, we think it was a large rocket stick about 3 1/2 foot long that was by the car
I like the bit about the letterhead, trouble is its not a small amount of money, I could probably buy a really decent l322 for the money but most of it is already spoken for to merchants and other bills
Bad payers have always been a problem, especially I found with big companies. 1 month not paid, no shipment next month was my policy.
