In with the new-ish!
One abs sensor became sacrificial and luckily we have some spare. :D
Check the tracking tomorrow and adjust the abs shield à little as it is touching the abs sensor. I may have knocked it around after drilling and drifting out the sacrifial goat:eek: sensor.... ;)

Good work Mark, did you elongate the sensor hole in the shield? I did both of mine so the sensors can stay in place if I ever have to strip the hubs down in the future.

Morning Alan, that is exactly what I'll be doing today. The bearing assembly is from the current axle and the sensor was jammed in the hole. After fitting the assembly to the replacement axle and carriers it is out of position. I think maybe after I brutally removed the old sensor it may have shifted the shield???

I did actually consider doing this before assembly after seeing a post of yours explaining why. I did consider removing the shield full stop but thought against it eventually.

It's land-rover weekend every weekend. Once we've fixed it, it's offroading time with the kids:cool:. I'm sat in bed at this moment :p.. Sunday lye in:D is that how you write it? :confused:
