No, they are the new hollow airsprings.Do I spy COILS of doom!!!
A pair of pliers, of a drill works quite well
Well, new ABS sensor didn't work. Now I am at a loss and running out of MoT. Sunday is DDay.

I didn't give it a proper look, signs of surface corrosion as is expected for the age but nothing overtly obvious. It threw a fault before I even really got moving. Was clearly, turned the wheel to the right, and literally just eased off the brakes to start rolling and bleep.Have to get myself a set!!
Did you check the condition of the reluctor ring when you removed the old sensor?
Could also be brake pressure related, hows your accumulator?I didn't give it a proper look, signs of surface corrosion as is expected for the age but nothing overtly obvious. Isn't the healthiest. Is on my list of to he replaced soonish. When we had her round Marty's the only fault that would clear was the front left sensor. Had some others but they were rectified.Could also be brake pressure related, hows your accumulator?

I recall having one changed last year but I think that was the other side. Only other thing I can think of is perhaps the sensor isn't self gapping as it should. The left side has been sticky since I first changed the diff. If it doesn't gap right and then reluctor is rubbing on it I assume that'd cause dramas too. Once I get some juice back inside of me, I'll go back out and ever so slightly back it out. See if that does anything. The reluctor rings can corrode and split causing ABS problems, very common...
Yeah. I really should've got myself diag by now. Seems daft in hindsight. If you can plug it in, you can have a good place to start looking. Diagnostics..
Good shout!Is wheel bearing okay?
Not that I recall. It has the rubber boot, but no washer.Mine had a rubber washer underneath to insure the correct gap
does yours have this ?
I didn't check that side. Had the FR changed a few weeks back because it was a bit grindy. Is wheel bearing okay?
So I gave the wheel a good shake and couldn't feel any play. Slightly twisted out the sensor like less than a gnats dick, fired up no fault. Went to drive off and with a small amount of steering input and the fault comes back. So maybe a very small amount of play in the bearings that can't be felt but by the sensor?Give it good wobble check for play with wheel on

Alright, I'll have a scoot under the car in the morning and see if I can see any signs of damage.reluctor ring i have money on..
