Someone’s been in here (with a hatchet by looks of it) taped cables up but fell off. Wires catching in window mechanism.

Seem in one piece though, have a white unconnected connector with 4.8v going through it can’t see where it would go, then a black wire from that loom with a taped join going to the door mechanism?

Watching your posts and it looks like a mine field, don’t give up the goal is near I’m sure.
I’ve been polishing wheels and now started buffing out haze on the headlights photo attached. I picked up a tube of stuff at the accessory shop and it seems to be doing the job, 6 more hours to go!
Tricky.

Chris fix did a good youtube vid on lights

Thanks for the inspiration Tricky
I’m all sorted now :)
Cup of tea thought voltage means it’s live , went back noticed the clips holding the cables deep in the door were hidden underneath some of the sticky stuff to hold the barrier sheet on, plugged back in and rerouted the cables bit.

I now have central locking, alarm, fob control and my boot button back :):)

I will take a pic when I’ve cleaned it up, greased, cable tied and ready to put card back on.

I’ll have a look later. Cheers
Hi again, my son just got the Chrisfix video up and it looks great. Just wet/dry paper water toothpaste and a smudging of wax to finish. I’ve only got edges to do so I’ll use up my paste but my sons Jaguar is in desperate need of that process so thanks for sharing it with me.
Tricky.

I saw that video when it came out and went to do it on my P38, until Data pointed out probably not good idea with glass. I was verging on getting new bulbs but good clean inside all they needed.

Presume l322 upgraded to plastic?
Hi, yes good old plastic. They had to offset the cost of the facelifts somewhere. Unfortunately it didn’t stop at the headlamps. Lol
Tricky.

I would not call going from glass to plastic an "upgrade"
