getting it near enough for handling purposes is a good thing to do, so keep the old one for reference..

We @Datatek and a few other members forget that everyone doesn't have a great depth of knowledge, for that read bloody old.champ.. figured it out! doh!! might have known a name like that would come from an austin factory

Don't bother it doesn't work, at least in my case it didn't. Keith sparked a memory of a Champ so pull up an ammo box,don your tin helmet and swing the lamp. Whrn my brother in law was stationed in Cyprus in the early sixties ish he went on the lash with a few mates.they couldn't get back to camp because no taxi would tske them they were that p1ssed.they "found" a military police Champ all lonely so took it for a drive nearing camp they realised questions would be asked so on a bend they liberated it over a cliff and parked it in the sea and walkedinto camp.Bet there was some red faces to match their caps when the Cherries found it gone never to be seen again. So if you are ever diving off the coast of Cyprus and find a Champ you know the story .I remember the name now, I tend to block certain things in order to maintain mental health
