Can someone tall me how/where this fits into the door? I think its something to do with the window, but I don't know how/where to fit it, I don't think its ever been fitted, its all bent up so much have been off the car for a long time

Dopey i think the glass has to come out to refit that bit, it may well need gluing in to hold it into shape, if you need a hand shout .
Years left on them, as long as you leave it parked in the field.A good friend has bought a 96 DSE that has been sat in a field for 8 years..
We got it out, did a basic service + the brakes..
I think those pads were worn......
A big thanks to @brianp38dse Saved my life, he sused out the rubber window channel and put it in for me, and almost sorted the wing mirror (the motor on it is broken though) and offered to sort my front dampers it and fit them for me that other mirror is for a Disco 1
