Still trying to decide on chopping the chrome bars of and getting wing vents that aren't chrome.
Got a silver tailgate to pick up at some point to replace mine View attachment 202239 View attachment 202240
Hi,
Just scrolling through and caught your pictures, personally I would body-colour the side vents to match the A & D posts, mirrors and door handles then swap the sill bars for original side steps to add to the width of the mud flaps if your not planning to go off-road. Whatever you do will be your own stamp. Post your upgrade pics.
Tricky.

Feck me did you have a job as a crash test dummy or something?? Good news on the prostate though, mine about the same, removed 5 years ago, just tested twice a year now.
Crash test dummy sounds thrilling by comparison! Much of my misfortune was far more boring; a stupid, completely avoidable solo climbing accident in the Scottish Highlands and subsequent ongoing repairs as listed!

Viscous clutch changed. Still over cooling. Gauge sat just over 1/4 mark.
Il have a look again soon
Warms up sat still (as far as 78°) diagnostics plugged in.
Cools the minute it starts moving down to about 60
Bottom hoses are lukewarm while it does this at about 60°
Same running without the viscous on at all..

Open thermostat maybe? o_O;)

Well viscous is currently off and with no egr stuff gone it looks easy enough.
Fortunately I have a 330d engine sat here with a hole in the side of it. Il whip the stat out and check it with kettle and digital thermometer. May be worth a fiddle.

Thanks for the invite, but ticker not ready for that game yet.
BUT... so far, C1 disc injury; L4, L5, S1 disc laminectomies; Left shoulder Sub Acromial Decompression & Rotator Cuff Repair; Right Shoulder Sub Acromial Decompression & Rotator Cuff Repair; Left elbow tendon reattached; Right elbow tendon reattached; Right AND Left wrists: Carpal Tunnel decompression (imminent) ; 5-off hernias repaired, four more under observation; Left Sciatic Nerve denervation thrice; Right Sciatic Nerve Denervation twice; Countless Cortisone & Anaesthetic injections to most joints; Prostate cancer (free since Nov 2014 YAY!!!) ; TWO vasectomies (don't ask); currently having kidney function investigations. Getting bored , so let's leave it at that for now...Hahaha =~]
Try Guillain-Barre syndrome (google It) that's my party piece

Was totally paralysed for a few months, extreme pain as nerves eaten away, sleep deprivation, hallucinations. Wheel chair dependant for 6 mnths, able to walk with crutches 12 mnths. before being independent. Some doctors relate my heart trouble to this. I have only been able to walk since it, cant run. If I fall down need help to get up if no leverage about. Have been left with weakness in all limbs, this not being helped with the osteoarthritis in hips and knees. Yep sure is a sh*t illness

Hit the first 500mile in it on the way home from workshop. Never looked into thermostat yet. Still got 2 e36s to finish for sunday

I argued with my EAS for a long time. Using EAS Unlock I managed to change the heights. I watched the change. I measured the change. I then tried a little fine tuning of the heights and now nothing. The EAS heights aren't changing in the software. They just revert to the heights I set initially. Very annoying. My motorway height is 48cm from wheel centre to top arch a week before a 1200 mile round trip!

Each level of the EAS can only be adjusted within a set range or it reverts to a default setting.

Got a main beam bulb failure message on the way home last night. I thought I had just about every motoring bulb type in the garage. I have, apart from a bloody H4.
