What did you do with your Range Rover today

Had to go off road down the farm to get to a tratter with a problem, when i got back to the tarmac the ABS light came on the dash. A light tap with a hide hammer on the front sensors seemed to sort it .Guessing play in one of front wheel bearings pushed the sensor away from the reluctor ring.
You went bloody where???!!!

Decided my p38 has been on the naughty step long enough having pee'd it's coolant from the front somewhere so decided to find out exactly. Pressurised the system, no leak. Went for a drive to get up to temp and up to pressure, no leak
I luv my p38

Watch out turn your back and it'll bite you and have you screaming blue murder:p:p

Did six trips to the local tip (covered the rear boot with sheet first and removed the rear flip cover for the first time) as an excuse to go for a drive. The misses also accompanied me - as she loves the TDV8 Westminster RR just as much as myself. Had to rummage around to find additional rubbish after first three trips. Booked cinema tickets to go to flicks a way out from us - just another excuse to drive the baby again. She's running so smooth lately - maybe it's the warm weather?!? Can hardly hear the big 4.4 engine... And, oddly enough, it seems to use so little fuel?!? Plan to purchase some silly number plates: saw some great ones with UFO at the helm... I won't be going initials or name etc though - that's taking it too far. Just so long as its year of manufacture (2012) isn't visible... Mnnnnnnnnnn

Investigated the lack of power and the sound of Gandhi's revenge. Simple fix,see photo for the problem while I had it stripped down refitted the front exhaust pipe and replaced a couple of the hanging rubbers.:D Just waiting for the new pipe to be delivered.

Haha yes!
I'm fully prepared for it unfixing again at some random point in the future though I'm not sure my mental health can take it!
I've not found the cause for the random over pressurising but haven't fully ruled out a leaky LPG vaporiser

Bled the bleeding brakes, the rear upper bleed nipple is a PITA, much easier on LHD.
Interesting how much difference different brake pads make, old ones were Mintex all round, new ones are EBC rears and Delphi fronts, more feel and more bite so very happy.

Fell off my chair when looking at price of rear brake calipers on l322.
Britpart ones are reasonable price but not sure if I trust them.
Anyone had good luck with Britpart calipers?

Land rover really are taking the piss with so called genuine parts. Only an idiot would pay their prices.
