What did you do with your Range Rover today

Today I've been mostly getting very very dirty. Did my tow bar, Rear bumper off and found half acre of mud, straw and various animal poos. Not content with doing that I also did my offside rear hub bearing. It was well notchy and was peeing oil which had mixed with the poos. Hmmmm what a smell. I then replaced both rear discs and pads. So I've swept a proper wheel barrow load of mud n poo and no longer having a whining behind. Oh I also applied brute force to straighten the rear box and stop it rubbing on the heat shield. I have just had a shower where I found the mud/poo/oil mix even found it's way in to my under crackers. God I stank.

got my manual buried to the axles in a field and nearly ran my auto into the back of a kia rio while looking at two hotties walking a dog, i dont know which is worse admitting i wasnt watching the road because of two cuties or admiting to nearly rearending a kia rio

Hmmmm, why are range rovers so needy???

I knew this needed doing as they had started to weep, but it went into 'il do that next month iv spent enough this month' list

My ff had other ideas, and as the wife pulled onto the drive it was prety clear the weep has turned to a prety frequent drip, but not quite a pour yet :(

Today, I fitted my tow bar.

I did it without having to take the mud flaps off or the wheels, just having to unscrew the bottom bit of wheel arch trim from the chassis. Undid the two main bumper bolts, a small tap here and there, a couple of little tugs, and hey presto, off it popped.

And then it went back on with no drama what so ever.

Simples!!!

Removed my drivers door lock and fixed the sticking button that sometimes causes it to fail to unlock. Then took a load of garden waste to the local recycling centre. Oh and got sunburn on my bounce, summer must be coming:)

used the l322 off road to help an injured man off a Austin 750 sorts trial hill event.

the access road was blocked with a stuck recovery man and the injured man needed to get down with the paramedic to the ambulance.

will your RR go around that van off road?

even though it has crap tyres on it for now I gave it ago. no problem.

LR agoing up and hill decent coming down . SUS on highest wading height.

caugt the recovery eye on the back but all well.
injured guy also ok three broken ribs.
:-(

my p38 would have don it but would jhave been much more work and it has proper tyres.

while the weather was lovely today, took the old beast out over the fields with "1992LSE" to catch some dinner ! LOL

fair to say it needs a good old wash now !

isnt this what range rovers are made for ? :D

I unfortunately found where my oil was ****ing out from. And it's not the valve covers as previously though.

It's the seal on the end of my steering rack. It's fubard :(

Looked at doing it myself but its a massive job.
So got it booked into a garage. Recon steering rack fitted. £1000ish :(
