Completed the head gasket renewal including all the usual other bits and pieces along the way, takes me forever nowadays, I hate getting old. Trouble is, I dont trust anyone else to do it for me.Still good clean and new shockers should be alright for a day or two.

I can`t do full days anymore. About 5 hours is my limit and then I ache for the rest of the day. The worst part is leaning over the front or an hour or two.My head says I can but the rest of me doesnt agree

Contacted GAP as my IID tool has stopped responding.
They were very good and have sent out a new module without question.
Apparently, they've had this issue with a few of them just recently and they think it's a faulty batch.
Hope the new one is OK as it's a great piece of kit

likely a bit late now but thats not a direct cable hand brake,its the earlier shoes and kit rtc3404 with 2 frc8549Removed the rear prop and H'brake drum to take some photo's of backplate for @jamesmartin to diagnose part numbers, put it back together again.
Gonna have a rest now.

Parts ordered today. As luck would have it I have been busy working on the house so this job got sidelined a bit, not as though a handbrake is desperately important here anyway. And a habit I got into when I started driving was to always depress the clutch when starting, so no problem leaving in gear.
