Took off the outside bottom window strips and repainted them. Tried all sorts of "blacking " treatments overvtime but, in the end, plastic primer and Matt black... Done. Bit tricky to get off and broke one, but easy hidden repair and all good.
Took out the air filter box and cleaned the c*** from underneath and under the EAS box. Nobody will ever see it, but makes me happy.!

Nothing seems to rejuvenate them. I snapped one on my rear door, glued back easy enough but bit closest to front doesn't quite sit flush anymore :(
The Matt Black works excellent, broke the long tab along the back of one but got it back without.
Just need to battle the rear corner posts off now to do the same finish.

Had a couple of hours spare this afternoon so finished replacing the T'box mounting bracket after replacing the VCU, what a pain in the arse that job was. The good news is that the Ashcroft VCU I fitted seems to work as it should, whereas the old one was seized so solid I got the flange nut off without having to hold the flange steady, had to fabricate a tool to hold the flange tight to do up the flange nut on re-assembly. So happy bunny, (fingers crossed an all)

While I'm about it I shall replace all the U J's on the front and rear props, might as well get that crossed off the list, then I can road test.

(not today but earlier this week) Swapped my EAS valve block for a refurbished one, the exhaust valve was knackered on my old one which led to much merriment of the 'driving around on the bumpstops' type.

My terrafirma HD have taken an absolute battering. Even snapped the bar going from mid-chassis to rear axle once, and the shock is still sound
Had a full set replaced under guarantee as a front and a rear shock had the bottom fixing/bolts pulled out!!!
They replaced the whole set...same shocks as yours.. there was a welding defect that you could see.
Where the welding hadn't gone all the way into the joint that was tapered out.
We'll see this year at land legend in June if they hold up.

Picked up re-welded intercooler. I just might be reassembling it all tomorrow but without belts, pulleys and the water pump for the moment... Still, a small amount of progress it is.:D

Finally got round to fitting the L322 wheels I picked up on ebay. £100 for the set, AT Grabbers on the back, Pirrellis on the front :)
