And wow iv just checked insurance (same policy same company mid term amendment) my 2.5 was 139.50 a month. My vw van (currently insured now) 24.10 a month. Just checked for a 2000 4.6 vouge 87 a month wtf

How is it so much for your insurance? I only pay about 300 a year fc on mine. 28/ 8 years ncb. (Well I pay 700 for a multicar policy but that's split between 4.6 p38 and my 650i)

Im 25 (24 when policy started). Gf 23 (22 at the time of policy start) a provisional..
No ncd
had my van before so just stayed with same company didnt shop around.

Saw a 4.6 97plate so a gems with lpg (switched on 5miles after starting not much of a clue with lpg) today nice enough motor drove well (coil sprung) needs tlc but no biggie good price. Only thing im unsure on is the idle it sits about 500 rpm isnt that a bit low,? P reg on mondials black bumpers and mirrors :( same colour as my diesel was felt a bit deja-vu and weird that it didnt have the diesel note on a 4x4 would soon adjust though seen a diesel advertised so have text about it. 1999 dhse only downside its green

personally iwouldnt waste my time buying a coil sprung converted one. there's enough to choose from that haven't been bodged.

5 miles it bit of a run for the LPG switch over.

if you dont mind a fixer upper then the field is more open.

I didnt swith to lpg for 5 miles dont knoe much how to use it. My dse was coil sprung did like it did very well for what i used it for. Springs was 7year old so probably wasn't as harsh as most? but a standard hight coil would be a problem tbh. Coils arnt the end of the world as long as the rest of the motors sound enough imo

Fixer upper is the plan somthing that needs a bit of attention but can be near enough jump in and use.

It should switch to LPG automatically as soon as the engine temperature lifts a bit.

You don't like reliable?:rolleyes::):)

I just sat and went nope this isnt for me. Itd have been reliable no doubt but whats the point in reliable if you dont like the motor itself. There was a button to switch onto lpg lad said it always starts on petrol and the press the button next to the lights to switch to lpg once its warmed so i did
