What did you do with your Range Rover today

Just dropped it off for an MOT.

Arse is going like a rabbits nose.

...and it failed :(

NSF CV Join gaiter
NSF ARB ball joint dust cover
NSF lower ball join cover

Been told it's a bit of a job as the hub has to come off etc. Should I order the parts myself from Island 4x4 and supply them to the garage or let them order them? Garage is run by a good friend of mine so no chance of being ripped off.

Edit: also, as they're in quite a bad state, do you agree it would make sense to replace some parts too?

I'd at least replace the ball joints while you have them off.

Discovered plug 202.
Discovered plug 202 was very poorly.
Surgically removed plug and soldered / heat shrunk all wires (OBD socket now working ).
Removed 3m of co-axial cable from a previous car phone install.
Removed 4m of 2-core mains cable that had been used for something once upon a time.

Fitted a set of Hurricanes that i picked up off Ebay, very pleased with the look and seems to handle better now.
