I need to sort my offside mirror now the weather is getting damper. The replacement glass came with smaller spade terminals, and the wires in the housing have bigger spades.Heated mirrors don't worksuch a first world problem, but that's because many this works countries are warmer and don't need them!!
If it's like the P38, it's because, stupidly JLR have the heating element switched on all the time rather than just when needed as is the case in most cars where they come on with the heated rear screen. Better than the P38 then. My heated mirrors haven't worked for years, they are rarely needed, I keep a can of deicer and a squeegee in the car which does the job perfectly well.
