He must have a very good job to be able to pay that much insurance6000km a year at 114€ a month. Fully comp as well. He's not yet finished his 3 year probationary driving period... Not envious at all

Depends on the model of car. Best way to keep the EGR valve good on the P38 is to remove the vacuum pipe from the actuator.
Normally they'll throw a code someway as the airflow meter waits for the airflow to drop when the egr valves open. Also egr valves also have position sensors which give away its position of they get stuck and chew the gears..
They can be horribly tail happy on wet or icy roads even at low speeds.
But the later egrs can be unprogrammed!!

It goes like brown stuff off a shovel but blew an injector out soon after the re-map. Not sure why anyone wants that much performance in a Defender though, noisy and uncomfortable compared to the P38.They go like bugger when done right
There's a guy on pootube called juice motors that does defenders all day long. He knocks out some smart machines

One for each head normally. The more modern diesel are under too much heat and pressure. Fit to burst!I'm thinking about the egr on the 4.4 tdv8, not sure if it has one or 2 of them
