Bit of investigation today. Spills are totally shot surprised it’s not drinking like a 4.6. Some aren’t split just so slack you can slip them on and off. Tried to ziptie them up for now but that’s only minimising the loss.
Took the oil leaky front cam plate off RTV and refit.
Eventually managed to persuade the viscous fan off. Also totally shot
can see swarf coming from out of the rear part of the bearing and takes huge force to turn it, but it does turn? Ruined paint job on my damper fulcrum in process
can’t find my E36 spare so s**t load of coppaslip and gently put back on for now.
Bit the bullet and bought the new fan. Went over to pick it up at foundry. They said they’ve sent me an email saying I can pick it up tomorrow. Let’s hope I get the email with the delivery code on it by tomorrow. There are some cracking Landys around those parts will try take pics for us tomorrow. Few DTs hidden round the back too was like finding porn they were all mossy and wet.
