Forgot what I was on about . Tis the old memory you knowKnow what????.
Bought a small space dehumidifier to run in him and try to deal with the damp that has built up before we get him running. Will see tomorrow how well that has worked.
Got the bonnet soundproofing on again - the clips were a b'stard, especially at full stretch.
Connected the washers again.
Wife carried on trying with the seized bolts in the heatshield spacers for the passenger side exhaust, but I think I will probably end up making substitute ones.
She also finished the first rocker cover paint job. Are we going too bling do you reckon?
Yes a great idea as they will fail again at some point so always best practice to keep a spare on hand along withy every other part needed. LOLAnd then refurb old one for a spare. Thats what I done
true statement of fact these days. Trust no one sadly. If you want a job doing right tha does it thee sen my old dad used to say
Some have built in defrost but cost a good bit more, I have one in my electronics shop which is very cold at this time of year.In my experience they don't work well in the cold, I had to put a small oil filled radiator in as well.
1 for each season of the year. LOLExactly what I intend to do.
Got 3 spare p38 compressors, too lol.
I just bought one of those spare wheel lift things for my L405. It cost me £120 but by god its a marvel bit of kit to lift out that huge heavy spare wheel.why not just repair, I think it took me a leisurely few hrs including lots of tea and fags.
its 15mins to get it out, then you can clamp your vise to the kitchen table in the warm.
The hardest bit is lifting that monster spare out of the wheel well, luckily M brought the strap thingy (no not that) to lift then its only a slide for the spare.

Haven't used the old beast for a few weeks.
Sounds alright still..
Need a better microphone on the camera!!
You have always had issues getting it to go up Alan. LOLMine doesn't, mind you it doesn't drop either. famous last words
You should have listened to your mother and saved a bit of strength and energy and possibly your eyesight.I just bought one of those spare wheel lift things for my L405. It cost me £120 but by god its a marvel bit of kit to lift out that huge heavy spare wheel.
Sadly she died many years ago Alan so had to make my own way in life. LOLYou should have listened to your mother and saved a bit of strength and energy and possibly your eyesight.
A working heater beats the Balaclava my brother has to keep in his Series 2AYou lot are spoilt..... heaters indeed
He doesn't tweet any pictures of it, so it's unlikely the police will ever see itDon’t think I’d go down that rd stopped bye the police and you got a balaclava on the passenger seat
Or burn it.I’m using my daughters car at the moment no heater at all just blows cold on full power only I brought the part it needs but it’s a Fiat 500 and to do the job you have to take out the drivers seat and half the dash and steering column think I suffer the cold
