Had good run. Everything seems okay ish no breakdowns or hissy fits but lacking power especially uphills. Just had a new lift pump (cheapy) but it went betterer before without one
Seems right through the Rev range? Brakes don’t seem to be sticking, no bubbles in clear pipe. May try get intercooler out and check wastegate, test map function. Could just be fuel gone bit stale but starts first beat no smoke? May bung load red ex in there run it through change filter

Pipe from the MAP to the manifold?

Were only a mile from the sea and I must admit it's the first time I've done any protective maintenance to the underneath,I was complacent knowing their galvanized. How wrong.
I've bought one of those lanoguard DIY preventive kits. Will let you know as it goes on that. Getting him back together and running is first priority though.

New Secondhand nsr armrest turned up today to replace the original that looked like a dog had been at it.
Took the door card off and did the swop then refitted the card complete with posh armrest and went in to have a celebratory cuppa.
20 mins later I realised that I hadn't reconnected the speaker plug so had to take it all off again:rolleyes:.

Was racing the weather to get it finished and to be honest I was knackered, not as young as I was, obviously, but still think I am.:D your bits should arrive soon if Royal mail pull their finger out.;)
Yes, bloody rain has scuppered my Plans, should have had Duchess in the garage by now but still working on the block pavior drive:cool:.
Once she's in, the weather can do what it wants :D.

I was thinking of cleaning my garage to get the car in but looking at it ,it would take weeks. I've got two rolls of carpet to replace the ones that are on the floor. Nice and comfortable to lay on but a bit of a fire hazard when welding.:D
