That right mate,the tread plates inside the doors need to be removed and possibly the mud guards there may be a screw in the front end and a trim clip in the rear then the finisher just pulls off good luck and thanks if you do.;):D
 
Them's the ones that fit to the car the ones I need fit to the finishers and clip to the little tit.
Looking at that, is it worth looking round somewhere like B&Q to see if there is a cupboard latch that would do the trick, screwed to the finisher plastic piece? Like the ones with a flared piece and a double sprung ball joint, but in plastic? Probably get a packful for pennies of something that will engineer to fit that way. Possibly just need to be pinned or screwed into the plastic section on the finisher?
Or get a few tiny neodydium magnets to glue into the finisher plastic piece and insert a pice of steel wire in the tit on the body clip. They should pull strong enough to hold tight.
 
They are inside the sill finishers,the bits that fits to the car are fine the plastic clips have two flats that hold on to the car part.dont know if you can see in the photo but the top one is broken and the lower is ok.;)View attachment 244818well looking at it now one of the flats are ok on the bottom one.:rolleyes:

That looks guaranteed to snap as soon as you touch it.
 
Thought I'd found my misfire problem!! Pulled a couple of plug leads and measured resistance. #2 ~7k ohms, compared to my spare set and the same length was ~3k! Swapped a couple over as they were both very different and lower resistance is betterer!!
Started up and it was dumping huge amounts of LPG :( at least one injector coil was red hot, assume that means it's sticking
 
If it sits right on its own, ie the measured heights are correct then you can't have one bag inflated more than another.. or it wouldn't sit level
Believe you me but it can. Then when you start driving it rocks about, dont forget it has an anti role bar at the front. I have had the same on cars with broken springs they look ok when stationary but handle bad when driving.

I was thinking of expanding foam in the square where the bits have broken off then clamp the finisher in place till the foam hardens.;):eek:
