dont plumb in the drier until you're ready to fill with gas, leave it sealed upToday I found out my aircon system has a leak. A leak that I was assured was not there 2 years ago (2019) when it was last tested and filled. Please keep in mind the whole time I have owned the car since May 2018 the aircon has never blown cold. So even after it was tested and checked it didn't blow cold(unlike my ex.........she was just cold.).
So what am I going to do? Well I have a new drier to fit so I'll be doing that. I'll be testing the compressor clutch to make sure that at least engages, but I also need to get a new condenser. It'll all have to wait for now. I need my funds chucked towards, well, it seems to be just at the car in general. I hope it lands on me fixing the instrument cluster illumination. I'm going to get my hands on a 2nd hand indicator stalk to see if that is indeed the problem after I've tried to find the connector and check it all as suggested to me yesterday.
Exciting times.....................
as for the indicator.. find the connector before getting a new stalk.. you'll need to find it then anywaysToday I found out my aircon system has a leak.
