Chances are Kermie there is no gas in your system so you could easily fit your new condensor and drier yourself to save time and money and then just get a mobile chap to come to your home and do it on your driveway for you. You can tell them its had new parts already fitted and the system is empty and they can connect up and away they go. I used to have a chap come to me every 3 years and do mine for me. Average cost was about £65. Remember the P38 A/C system has a cut out switch/sensor fitted which wont fire the compressor up if there is no gas in the system to prevent it being damaged. Once it detects gas/pressure it should fire up and you hear the clutch kick in when you press the A/C switch on the Hevac screen panel with engine running of course.I've not had a condenser fitted for a long time, there could be all sorts floating about
