Drove the car all week-end and drop her this morning to her 2nd house (The Garage)

for :
- Oil Change.
- Front axle seals (Both side, around the wheels) need to be changed (under warranty since they only last 9 month :-( )
- Cure this Hot pump problem (Was very hot yesterday after 30 minutes but dead cold this morning when driving it for 45 minutes to the garage... go figures)
- Squeaking noise at the rear of the car (Rear suspension bushes apparently)
-Tiny cosmetic stuff (Broken piece of plastic on the gear lever)

Nowt, although I took her for a good drive as I had to go to a funeral in Perth. She zipped along just the thing and I had my dog riding shotgun so it was a good day. Appeared to get about 16mpg ballpark.

Jus got a call off the wife. Car won't start :( and the bigger bugger is it's blocking the drive. So can't get the other car off! Grrrr

Won't be home till tomorrow so can't look at it till then

I think the weight on that tailgate was in the region of 175KG. So that should be enough for most people. I just happened to be sat with a grizzly bear of a man.

backed it off the drive, started to drive down the road, ABS, TC, (!) stayed on, tried brakes, long peddle no real braking force, manage to get back to drive, pop bonnet, no noise from ABS pump, fuses ok, decide to give up and jump in dads 90. google search, probably need another abs pump, almost die checking the price, and decide second-hand one will suffice. What a great monday morning :(

Probably just the pressure switch but worth checking the relay as they are known to give problems before you lash out on the pump.

thank you datatek & Grit valve, managed to test fuses and relays tonight, and were found to be working ok. I've hooked up my Nanocom no errors stored in the ECU, I will have to wait till weekend or maybe book a day off later in the week to remove the pump and get a better look.
Lifes never dull with a P38 :D
