I'm not sure what it's called but the stainless looking part I've circled. Where did you get that from? Mine's cracked and I'd love to replace it with something like that.

Are you just looking for a metal binnacle?
Defender & S111 Binnacle Mount do one, not cheap but very strong.
As for my truck, it wants a paint job, full service, refurbished R380 and a whole lot more but it will have to be happy with an Orange and a new split charge relay and wire from the alternator .

why not manufacture your own? I took my binnacle, taped a couple of A4 pages together, made a pattern, got a piece of 2mm steel plate and 500ml of expensive paint, a couple of hours later I had a steel replacement which worked out to about R80 (converted that is less than 8 pounds)
