what a bastid

so making progress with the 300 tdi conversion..removed my 6 bolt steering box and the 4 bolt from the discovery.

removed drop arm of the disco one piece of ****s
then came the one of my defender,even with a puller and 2 hrs of soaking with wd40,we had to resort to heat aswell,in the end it took an hr and a half to get the drop arm off "what a bastid"

You did it .... it will be a doddle putting back together. Took me that long to fit my steering gaurd cos of one tight bolt

Got me mate at work remove mine with a 10 ton press, off in seconds

unfortunately we didnt have one of them

Sounds like you had fun im also finding this that after years of abuse they dont come apart very easy.
