Whaddon Weekend 4x4 Event

Doug has agreed to do a weekend event.

It's £30.00 entrance fee (to drive Sat & Sun) and you can camp there if you like!

If you can only attend the Saturday session it's £30.00, but if there is a lot of interest for Saturday only I will ask if he will accept £25.00.

Sunday session only will be the normal fee of £25.00.

On Saturday you can drive late - within reason! (this is what people have been asking for) so make sure your lights are working!

Not sure if you can participate in the Northants 4x4 punch events, I suppose you can if you join their site!

I have made a new track across the stream (near the sleeper bridge) so make sure your winch is working!!!! you will need it to get up the banks as it's slippery!!!!

I have also cut exit / entry routes into some of the tracks with deep ruts, this is so less able truck can bypass sections they will not get through!

I have also tried out and repaired an old track that runs along the side of the field, so you can travel half the length of the field from the bottom corner, The remainder of the track to the top corner will need repair to ensure it's usable.

The last weekend in April is good for me.

Im up for the end of April date, Saturday Hopefully have my old girl back together by then!

The poll has ended, although only 3 votes on this site the date has been set for the 26th & 27th of April as this is the main date requested by Northants4x4.

I'm currently looking to get hold of punch equipment but drawn a blank, any idea where the punches and card can be purchased?

A couple of us will be bringing guitars, if anyone else can strum along we'll have easy to follow songs with chords printed up for round the campfire

I'm going to be there, should be a good laugh.

Wicked ill be there in my green disco along with a mate in his blue defender 90 he may tow along a little Suzuki to have a play in too

Another thing, krams300? Are caravans for the camping ok? Or is it tents only?

I don't see that caravan will be a problem, I will confirm it once I have spoken to Doug.

Caravan's are allowed, Camp fire is ok as long as you have the means to extinguish it.

The camp site will be to the left over the brow of the hill
