hello all,i am looking to get a disco,i went to view 1 earlier, 1995 (N) 2 door 300tdi,97k 6 mot £750,i know yes cheap that...got there,the boot needed doing,but whats put me off is when i rocked the steering wheel there was a knock coming from behind hub
any ideas any1 as i feel it may be worth a punt.I am only wanting it for offroad use.The guy sellin needs shut and i know he will go lower if i got some ammo 2 throw at the numpty.(who told me b4 my 60 mile visit the disco was sound)..as 4 repairs i have changed a few engines/boxes in my time but never had a disco...also my mates a mechanic but on holiday....what u think the worst case scenario could cost in parts????? or shall i pass... any advice much appreciated.......
