Hi guys,

I found some nice 25mm lift spacers on ebay made by Well Spaced Out. As they are only 25mm you don't need the extended brake hoses, just the camber pins.

landrover parts items in freelander store on eBay!

Anyone used them? Good quality?

Will.

I had a similar kit on mine for most this year. Now removed and back to standard and yes you can get away without extended pipes and hoses just. More important is that the steering arms clear the apertures in the inner wings on full extension. My opinion was that the balance of the vehicle was upset - felt top heavy and lost that bulldog stance. I did not use crash pins but having the front tracking redone is a must.

Hmm yes I see what you mean. I'm not 100% convinced about the lift, I do like how it looks at the moment and those tyres have already given me an inch one what I had before. Wouldn't mind some spacers though, looks good when it's all wide planted ;).

Your set up looks great to me but go too far and the vehicle just does not look right, let alone drive properly. Defenders with skinny tyres and hi lift kits look fine but road bias rides such as ours - I'm not so sure. Just my opinion. For my pref, I would have your new wheel and tyre set up for winter and a set of 18's with 235's for summer but aint gonna happen - All spend on my FL now banned by the boss.:)

Hmmmmmmm

Gonna get me a nudge bar and some light guards when me paycheque comes in :D!

Just not sure about that 25m lift, depends how much camber correction pins are.

My spacers were 20mm - if you go 25 I'm sure you will need to grind the apertures in the inner wings to get clearance. DD will know for sure and they have to clear for MOT and safety obvs.

If you do have to modify It would be minimal, you could just tweak it with a hammer easily enough! 2" that's a pain in the arse!

Apols all. My spacers were 40mm (not 20) and the steering arms cleared the apertures in the inner wings by a hairs breadth, without modification. Also the standard flexis on the front were just long enough. I did have the tracking re set but did not use camber pins. Rear looked fine but front was slightly bow legged. Was not happy overall (tho acknowledge that only did half the job) and reverted back to standard, sold kit on ebay.
