Military style 10 layers thick!
10 layers thick!i have the paint....
but now deciding upon..
how much black...black pillers and c panels..(rear panels between rear window and tailgate..rest red
or black up from and including pillers..ie black roof.
or as above but also black on bonnet recess..ie

just no...reminds me of old yanky station wagons with plastic vinyl wood effect..
also makes the car look too long, destroys the shape..
thats why i am leaning towards red body, red roof , black pillers..just enough black to highlight the red but still keep the "shape" and lines charles designed..

Tatty yanky station wagons... nasty things! :lol:
Which pic? Some of us have pages setup differently...
When you rub down paintwork are you going back another layer or just keying the surface for new layer to stick on? Going to to take one hell of a stone chip to get back down to metal again!

Speaking of tatty yanky station wagons... Just realised the wheels on your white RRC look similar(remind me of them thats all!) to these.
the pic of 374ugt climbing a slight hill..though it may get a black bonnet, atleast between the recesses..or it may not..lol
and keying up paint work with 800 grade to give nice flat finish for new paint...my hands now hurt!!
paint is mazda velocity red pearl, zicronian lakes.(proberly spelt that wrong)... very nice..however 3 stage paint job..
