ive always said if i ever get the money to buy a large house and land i would have a workshop and ramp just to potter around in. even doing brakes at waist level is a much easier job!!!

its essential for taking engines etc out and you can even sit under the car when doing multiple bolts up, i.e bell housing!!


Isnt that the main reason for a 2" lift?:bolt:
 
One thing we do is use two sets of vehicle ramps (the type your dad or grandad used) suitably rated they are a safe way to 4 wheel lift without a hydraulic ramp.

Like when we refitted the gearbox and transfer box to mine
 
how much was he asking for it G.:confused:

he said he wanted scrap money.......... they took it out because they had an identical one break and drop a camper on one side and as they normally work on sports cars and race cars they didn't want to risk the other one going when it had an expensive or rare car on it so they bought 2 new ramps and got the other three serviced and checked at the same time
