Haha!! Yes I know how to weld, but I'm not the greatest I've lost the patience on old rusty poop it's actually a pain in the bum to get good welds. It takes a lot of preparation. Grinding and cleaning . And access is the main one..You telling me... Weldy... knows how to weld?

so yes it will look poop!! Your getting it for free lol... saying that .. even if you were a paying customer , it wouldn't look much better, that's what underseal was invented for.. to hide terrible repair jobs!

What welder we talking about, MIG or those damn sticks, cause I've welded with ARC and well... 5 coats of paints later it looked... like ****

Romania.. nah depends where you are, where im staying is a smaller village, most people are quite poor and the cops will usually take bribes if its enough, but cites etc might not have so much luck. I've gotten off twice now, first pulled over cause I had UK plates, I don't have insurance documents so they were going to check, but it takes 24 hours, luckily my Romanian friend talked to them and they let us go for free. Second time when I crashed had to go to the station, and they knew I didn't have insurance but my friend used to crack logs for him for community service... cause a few years back he got drunk and crashed a stolen car... so he let me off... and thats that.
Its amazing the technology they have here... the police station had to make an illustration of what happend... so he literally drew my car (a box) and a curve that resembled a road... and my box sliding off the "road" into a ...well what I can only describe as a few wiggly lines that were meant to be a stream.. on a little piece of paper with a pen.. I was hoping he'd given us a copy of it.
Although I must say... for somewhere that you still see horse and cart for transport... the internet and 4g coverage is amazing... better than the UK... guess thats where the EU funds went instead of filling in the potholes
But nah in all fairness its a really nice place to visit.. although unfortunatly the locals seem to think me and my Romanian friend are ... more than friends... which doesn't go down too well in Romania... although everyone seems to think he crashed the car given his track record
I do apologize for the... oh wait this is your thread in the first place... nevermind... I mean I cant exactly make a thread about what happens in Romania
