Welding for the MOT

thanks very much for the advise and offers of help... phoned the garage who've MOT'd my cars in the past and been told its a deffo MOT fail, but they can weld it for about 100 ( both sides ) ....cheers
 
Does any one know were to get or how to replace the rubber strip between the inner arches and outer body once the welding is complete and what to bond it with?
