Mainly 5.5mm up to 1/4" so 6.3mm and then 15mm bar is used for recovery points, and 1/4" angle too so the work wont be fully flat

not flux covered? thinnest I have seen is 3/32nd.

Don't go cheap on the 60-70,00psi as it could snap off and hurt someone be careful. Might have to order from a real welding supply center

sheet metal is anything under 1/8" or less, 1/8 and above is sold as plate and referred to as Weight per sq ft. So 1 sqft of 1/8 is called as 5 pound plate
1'' steel is 40 pounds per sq ft

well, I'm willing to be corrected.

I'd quite like to try some of the 6010/11s, but the welding supplier near me doesn't supply them. They do have low-sulphur rods though. Not sure if they're 7018s or something else. They sound like a lot of hassle to keep dry though.

SIF do a 1/16th and up all flux covered so will be getting some of them to do a BMW sill and chopping them down to half length as I've got to lie on the floor with the car tilted on axle stands and supported with blocks so not enough room to use a full one
