weird noise

Hi guys, I just put some 2 inch lift blocks on my 200tdi defender which has 235/85r16 special tracks on it.
Ever since I lifted it I get a strange noise ( like I'm driving on the rumble strip on the hard shoulder) when I either power on or release power when going over 40 mpg, the noise only lasts a few seconds but is concerning me, has anybody had same issue or know what it could be, I have not adjusted or replaced any other parts apart from 2 inch blocks. Front prop angle perhaps, mine on double carden and flange

Would a 15mm spacer make any diffrence? Would it only be the front prop? Cheers for reply

real props don't have homers

i meant defenders don't have the rear rubber, but have another uj

Sounds like a uj or prop balance to me

Angle looks ok to me. Reckon your UJ(s) is/are fecked somwhere. I had the same thing a little while back (before I put lift on though). The increased angle will make it more evident or worsen it if there was already worn UJ's.

remove prop and drive with difflock to eliminate ujs..

as above and check phasing of props
