hello ,

Need Help......

I installed a weber carburator 32/36 DGEV on my defender 90 2.5 petrol.

I'm having trouble on regulating the mixture and idle.....anyone has an idea what to do?

anyone has done the same conversion?????

very disappointed with the result.......I thought this carb would be better for performance and economy.

tnx

well thank you for the advice .....but so far the engine works good ,,,even performs better than diesel when muddying.

just need adjustments ideas....

best

Ive got a 2.5 petrol with the 32/34dmtl.
Why did you fit the 32/36?
Maybe because the carb is not set up for the 2.5 landie engine, its running rough?

tnx for your reply...

I still have the 32/34 dmtl at home but it was running lean.......

when i decided to change I started reading more about other carbs........the 32/36 is not way bigger than the original 32/34.....but it gives more acceleration on high revs..

this weekend I found that the problem I have is electrical.......the car does not have enough negative ground cables installed. sometimes the lights are bright and the engine drive smooth and strong, but most of the time the lights are less bright and the car does not accelerate smooth and is powerless.

I will continue on revising the electrical system....

tnx
