wayfarer lane problems

i found this post this morning.(as usual) i could,nt find any mention on any of the police websites for the area maybe a bit more digging this was the coment from my local club

Hi all. i've just heard that people have been having their vehicles seized for driving the Wayfarer. Surely not eh? Maybe if they were off piste then so be it, but it hasn't got a TRO on it has it?

Joanne Aldridge Prev Logan On behalf of nwlrc we cannot comment on the status of a lane. That should be something each individual should check out themselves before they drive it. But I am aware that the police have made numerous arrests this week (via local press) due to illegal vehicles and off piste activity

The Glass rep for the area would be a good start to contact.

I know he was up on the Wayfarer this weekend making repairs to some of the gates.

Police crackdown on illegal off-roaders in North Wales woodlands - Daily Post

Vehicles Seized in Illegal Off Roading Crackdown | Wrexham.comWrexham.com

In the context "illegal off roading" is not limited to off piste activity, e.g. they were dipping tanks, one bike was seized for an illegal numberplate, licence infringements etc.

From what i've read they were after illegal vehicles , Most of the ones seized were motorcycles that were not road registered .

i know now i,ve read pumpys link would have known alot quicker if a certain club had'nt given there usual response to a question asked by a member.

I love the comment which basically is surprised that a stoner is relaxed.

There are always lots of guys on non road legal crossers in that area though.
