I wouldn't spray sump oil on your chassis.
lt will wash off into the environment and has all sorts of nasty things in it.

Oil is probably good inside the chassis as it will creep into any rust thats bound to already be in there, leave it a few weeks then go over it with std chassis wax of your choice.
