Wave Etiquette

agreed on the disco thing, around here in berks they just don`t. now i do a forrest gump style spasticated chest slap for disco drivers. i also employ this 'wave' when on my supermoto and pass a squid (bloke on a superbike in shorts/t-shirt/flip flops/etc) as opposed to the accepted doffing of the cap style wave.

:D :p

What's the score with driving to/from shows and pay and play then?

My right hand got tired last year at Billing (easy tiger!) I was waving at waves after waves of Landys cruising past.

Let's not forget ofcourse, the obligatory 'flash back in' and 'left right left' after overtaking a fellow Landy.

Makes me feel so noble.

i'm confused...

had a camper van a couple years ago... they all wave at ya without exception... even new ones would wave at my poxy motor... r lass got well into it.. waving at everyone she was..

moved up to a disco.. and she cought me wavin the other day.. sometimes i get a waver back others i dont.. i dont mind.. i would rather wave and not get one back than not wave at all..

but the problem is.... r lass told me to stop.. she sez i'm not supposed to cos i'm not in a camper anymore and its a camper thing..

what do i do now? (and be nice)

he he he...... i dont think so!

she'd kick my ass!

That would be domestic violence, or if you enjoyed it something similar to an abbreviation of Marks and Spencer's reversed.

Get lots of waves in the VR6 T4 and raced by a diesel:hysterically_laughi

Is that a recognised pulling technique down there then:confused::confused:, bloody coppers reckon it's illegal up here, or they did the last time I flashed at a 'Babe':eek::eek::p:p:p;)

Got a funny look today. Was at work in Eastbourne, and say a nice series 2a. I waved and got a blank look. Might have been fact that I was in my van, but still.
If anyone sees a white transit in hastings, eastbourne, or brighton waving at a landy its only me

limp wrists:p

I find that fellow Tractor drivers all seem to wave, whether they're in Defenders, Series or even 101s.

Defender drivers don't wave back. Period.

Range Rover drivers don't see me, or pretend not to. Fact.

Gaylander drivers are too busy on the phone / applying make-up / holding onto their doors .....

Overall, though, it's clear that owning a Landy permits entry into a great community of real 'characters'.

That's good enuff for me!

:D
