I've got the exact same problem with mine just noticed it today, so had a look through the RAVE I have to see if there is any drain pipes like the rear but no, the only ones are from the sun roof. So it looks like a tape up job to find it and as been said it may give me an idea where it's coming from, either that or a strip out job.

Has anybody got an idea as to how to release the roof rack tracks so I can see if there is a hole in that area, because I was thinking of blasting so underseal in that area.

Oh, ok then so by the looks of things it's coming in via the front screen ?, so take off both side trims and the head trim and mastic all around then. Hopefully that should stop it coming into the car at the top of my A posts.

Well just been out to the car and now it's both sides that's leaking,as it's at the top of the A frame do you think it may be coming in from he door seal area as the curve of the frame is on line with the top of the A frame and headlining. Just wondering if it could be that, the problem I've got at the minute is it's ****ing down at the moment so cannot get at it.

Henry b, took all the trim of the top of the front window and looked along the top of the joint between the car and the glass bonding, did not look to good so as it's a nice dry dry took the front door trims off as well and cleaned it all up with methylated spirits and them hit the whole lot with a good mastic of Sikaflex mastic. So we are supposed to have rain tonight so I'll see what it's like tomorrow. Hopefully nice and dry, then it's just the problem of putting the top window trim back.

Well went out to the car once the snow had melted and noticed that the passenger side was dry but the drivers side was still wet and the headlining even wetter and now a new puddle now by the bonet release handle and that area was wet,so it looks like it's running down the lower dashboard. This is now getting annoying as to where it's coming in,waiting for some waterproofing tape to turn up then going to seal the sun roof off. Has anyone replaced a sunroof seal before and where would you get it from.

The seal around the glass doesn't keep the water out it is there for wind noise reduction more than anything.

The sunroof drains are there for when water comes through/

Well I checked both the front drains on the sun roof just in case they were blocked, both were clear and no leaks,so it's either the rubber seal around the door or the rubber seal/trim that runs up the side of the front window as the whole of the front window sides and top had a full Sikaflex mastic done. So still puzzled as to where it's coming in.

Well as you know, I re-sealed around the front window but where the top door seal that's fixed to the side windows trims there was a gap so sealed both sides of that and also put a small thin draft excluder around the sun roof this is only about 3mm in thickness so it would not get snagged by the sunroof closing. So we had heavy rain last night and low and behold the inside was dry, looked at a new seal for the sunroof only to find it costs £82 so that's a miss, well as we are having a storm running through we'll see what happens.
